Warhammer: Chaosbane Gets Next-Generation Console Versions

Nacon and Eko Software have announced Xbox Seris X and PlayStation 5 versions of action RPG Warhammer: Chaosbane. The Slayer Edition will be available on each console from its launch date: for Xbox Series X worldwide on November 10, 2020, for PlayStation 5 in North America on November 12, 2020, and for PlayStation 5 in Europe on November 19, 2020. It will include all of the DLC packs released for the game so far.

In addition, the companies announced a new playable character coming to all versions of the game. The new character is Jurgen Haider the Witch Hunter, who wields a sword and a pistol and draws power from his faith in Sigmar. A free update will also be released at the same time that expands the two hub areas in the first two acts of the game, adds new enemies to the area around the camp in the second act, and adds a new cemetery area with further enemies. The character will be released as DLC for the existing PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 versions on November 10, 2020, but it will be included at launch as part of the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 Slayer Edition.

Warhammer: Chaosbane is set in the Warhammer Fantasy universe and takes players to various iconic locations from the setting during the campaign. The game was released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in 2019.
