New Trailer Introduces Xuan-Yuan Sword VII’s Heroines

A new trailer released by Softstar Entertainment introduces the two heroines fighting alongside protagonist Taishi Zhao in DOMO’s upcoming Xuan-Yuan Sword VII. Chu Hong is Zhao’s childhood friend; she grew up with him and now fights by his side, more than capable of holding her own in combat. Taishi Xiang is Zhao’s kind, pure-hearted baby sister. Though still young, she supports Zhao in battle however she is able.

The trailer also provides a little more information on the world of Xuan-Yuan Sword VII. Zhao, Hong, and Xiang are part of a group called Mohists, a people who have managed to stay separated from the rest of the world but are now facing the divisive question of whether to sacrifice this isolation in order to help others with their mastery of advanced clockwork machinery. The trailer also shows the party forced to battle a hostile clockwork Gearbeast, as well as the integration of puzzle-solving within a dungeon.

Xuan-Yuan Sword VII is set to be released later this year, though no exact date has been announced yet. The game will launch for PC, PlayStation 4, and — newly-announced — Xbox One.
