The Third Wasteland 3 Developer Diary Talks Choice

In its third in a series of developer diaries for Wasteland 3, inXile Entertainment’s Brian Fargo and Nathan Long discuss reactivity within the game and how players will witness the repercussions of their actions. One of the primary examples of player choice is the ability to shoot any NPC in the game, including quest-givers. The diary also goes into the big and small ways the game world will react to the player’s actions.

Set in the snowy landscape of Colorado, Wasteland 3 will put players in the role of the last survivor of a squad of Desert Rangers looking for help from the Patriarch of Colorado. The game is set to release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on August 28, 2020.
