Wasteland 3: Cult of the Holy Detonation Announced
Prime Matter and inXile Entertainment have announced the second and final DLC for Wasteland 3, titled Cult of the Holy Detonation. The expansion is set deep within Cheyenne Mountain, where mutant cults worship a nuclear explosion somehow stuck in a stasis. The Rangers are sent to investigate, as the anomaly could power Colorado Springs for centuries or destroy it instantaneously. Players will have to squeeze their way into the middle of a holy war over one of the most powerful relics in the world.
Cult of the Holy Detonation will be available individually for $6.99, or as part of the game’s expansion pass, and will release on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on October 5, 2021. Xbox Game Pass players will be able to purchase the content at a 10% discount. A complete version of the game is set to release on the same date, known as Wasteland 3: Colorado Collection. It will feature all previously released DLCs and will be available digitally on all previously mentioned platforms for $59.99.
