Moonlighter’s Between Dimensions Expansion Hitting Consoles Next Week
11 bit studios and Digital Sun have announced that the Between Dimensions expansion for Moonlighter will launch on consoles next week after releasing on PC last year. The expansion will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on May 29, 2020, priced at $6.99. It adds a new Interdimensional Dungeon, ten new regular enemies, and five new mini-bosses, as well as new weapons, armor, shop items, and accessories. It also includes new Trick Weapons that grant special powers but may also come with other, less desirable effects.
Moonlighter is one part shopkeeping and one part dungeon-crawling and follows Will, a shopkeeper who at night visits the nearby ruins for adventures and danger. During the day, Will manages a store, interacts with the other townsfolk, and can craft and enchant weapons. The game transforms into an action RPG at night with customisable loot, randomly-generated dungeons, and varied play styles. The game is available for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, and those looking to read more can check out Charalampos Papadimitriou’s review of the PlayStation 4 version.
