SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays Expansion Pack Announced

Bandai Namco has announced a new Expansion Pack DLC for tactical RPG SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays. The $7.99 Expansion Pack is not included with the game’s Season Pass and adds higher difficulty modes, new character abilities, new parts, and five new stages, as well as new units, characters, quests, and group missions.

The company also offered details on a pair of free updates. The first, releasing later today, includes numerous adjustments as well as a new “G Generation BGM Collection & Special Ability Acquisition Operation!” mission. The second will launch later in spring 2020 and add new costumes, settings, and voice options to the My Character feature, as well as an increase to the game’s level cap.

SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays brings together numerous entries in the Gundam multimedia franchise including mobile suits and pilots from Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, Mobile Suit Gundam 00, and Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans. The game was released worldwide for PC in November 2019, with PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch versions released in Japan and Southeast Asia.
