Sakura Wars Media Showcases Combat

Sega released new screenshots and a trailer for the upcoming Sakura Wars. The new media focuses on the game’s action combat system, where players pilot a mecha in organised battles in the Combat Revue World Games. The games feature matches of three-on-three team battle spread across three rounds against Combat Revues from across the world including Shanghai, London, and Berlin. During the battles, the player and their two allies attempt to score as many points as possible by taking out targets in the battle arena.

Sakura Wars is considered a reboot for the series of the same name and takes place twelve years after the events of Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love. The game will be released for PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe on April 28, 2020, and is available to pre-order now with both a physical Launch Edition and a Digital Deluxe Edition.
