New Genshin Impact Closed Beta Starting Next Week

Publisher and developer miHoYo announced that its next closed beta for open-world action RPG Genshin Impact will begin on March 19, 2020. The beta will be available for PC, iOS, and Android and let players access the areas from the city of wind, Mondstadt, to the city of rock, Liyue Harbor. Meanwhile, a new trailer, viewable below, shows some gameplay as well as the scenery around Liyue.

Genshin Impact is set in the fantasy world of Teyvat. Players take on the role of a figure known as “the Traveler”, embarking on a journey to find their long-lost sibling and learn the secrets of the world. Players will be joined by a companion called Paimon and travel with a customised party of up to four characters. The game is being developed for PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
