Children of Morta’s First Free Content Update Released

Dead Mage and 11 bit studios have released the first free content update for roguelite action RPG Children of Morta. The “Shrine of Challenge” update includes a new Hard Mode with additional enemy damage and health, but increased experience; new Dark Blade and Mech Constructor enemies; eighteen new items; and a new larger HUD option, as well as balance fixes and other tweaks. The update is the first of seven planned free updates, with a paid expansion also set to follow.

Children of Morta stars the guardians of Mount Morta, the Bergson family. Players lead the Bergsons in their mission to defeat the corruption that has overtaken the mountain and infested it with monsters.
