Monster Hunter Riders Announced for iOS, Android in Japan

Capcom has announced Monster Hunter Riders, a new title set to be released in Japan for iOS and Android. The game will launch sometime this winter — the game’s iOS page currently lists a placeholder date of Februrary 29, 2020 — and will be free-to-play with microtransactions.

Monster Hunter Riders takes place on the continent of Felgia, where humans and monsters live together after the land was saved from a calamity by a group of ten dragon-riding knights. Players will be able to collect and raise familiar monsters from across the series and assemble their own party of riders to take on quests as a new threat rises on Felgia.
