Darksiders Genesis’ Strife Takes Center Stage

THQ Nordic and Airship Syndicate have released an introduction trailer for Strife, from the upcoming isometric hack-and-slash RPG Darksiders Genesis. Unlike his stoic brother War, Strife is the joker of the group, as quick to sling quips as he is to fire his twin pistols, Mercy and Redemption. Together with his white phantom steed Mayhem, the Fourth Horseman of the Apocalypse joins his brother in a quest to stop the demon king Lucifer from upsetting the balance of Hell.

Serving as a prequel to the rest of the series, Darksiders Genesis features two-player online and couch co-op, with each player taking on the role of either War or Strife. The game is set to release on PC and Google Stadia on December 5, 2019, with PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch releases set for February 14, 2020.
