Atelier Ryza Gets New Media, Details
Koei Tecmo released new details and media for Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness and the Secret Hideout, the latest title in Gust’s long-running series. New English screenshots and a new English-subtitled trailer from Tokyo Game Show are joined by information about the game’s story and main protagonist Reisalin “Ryza” Stout’s titular secret hideout.
Atelier Ryza sees Ryza and her friends setting out and looking for adventure. Their adventures see them heading into the depths of the Sunken Mine, where they discover a gate to another world, where an evil threat to their home may be lurking. To prepare to deal with the threat, the group establishes a hideout as a base of operations, where Ryza can practice alchemy and create new items to help her and her allies.
Players will be able to customise the hideout with items they find throughout the adventures. Ryza and the party’s stats can be affected by the layout and decorations of the hideout, with players able to strategically place items to provide boosts in combat.
Atelier Ryza is the 21st mainline title in the franchise and marks the start of a new subseries. Atelier Ryza is set to be released in North America on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch and worldwide on PC on October 29, 2019, with the European PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch releases to follow on November 1, 2019.
