Bandai Namco announced that two titles in the Super Robot Wars franchise, Super Robot Wars V and Super Robot Wars X, are heading to the Nintendo Switch and PC, with no release date provided at this time. Super Robot Wars V and Super Robot Wars X previously debuted in Japan on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in 2017 and 2018, respectively. Update — Bandai Namco has since announced that the Nintendo Switch version of Super Robot Wars V will be released in Japan on October 3, 2019. This version will also be released in Southeast Asia on the same date with English subtitles.

While neither game has a confirmed western release, they were both released in Southeast Asia with English subtitles for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. Below are lengthy trailers for each game. It is not yet confirmed whether the Nintendo Switch or PC versions of Super Robot Wars X or the PC version of Super Robot Wars V will be released with English subtitles.

Editor’s Note — The article and blurb have also been updated to remove any unconfirmed suggestions that the undated Nintendo Switch and PC versions will include English subtitles.
