Infinity Blade Trilogy Delisted on iOS

Epic Games has announced that the Infinity Blade Trilogy will no longer be available on the iOS App Store. Along with the removal of all three games, all in-app purchases have been removed as well. Players who already own the games can continue to play these games, and can still download them onto devices that have the account they are registered to available. This will continue for the foreseeable future.

Detailing its decision to delist the trilogy, Epic Games stated that it was too difficult to support. There will still be new events to be run in Infinity Blade III over the next month, and special items will be available to players who log in. As a way of saying thanks, the developers are allowing the Infinity Blade Stickers App to be downloaded for free. The eponymous Infinity Blade is being marked in Epic Games’ other titles, with a teaser trailer of Fortnite showcasing it being wielded.

Infinity Blade is a fighting game with role-playing elements developed by Chair Entertainment and Epic Games and was released only through the Apple App Store on December 9, 2010. It is the first iOS game to run on the Unreal Engine. Its sequels were released in 2011 and 2013 respectively, all exclusively for iOS.

Hi, I'm Peter. I grew up on the NES and beyond, fell in love with the SNES, and established my roots in JRPGs very early. My favorite franchise will always be Final Fantasy. I'm also incredibly terrible at writing my own bios.
