Gust Details Nelke’s Expeditions, Character Episodes

Gust has provided more details and images for the upcoming Atelier spinoff Nelke and the Legendary Alchemists: Ateliers of the New World. The new information focuses on two areas of the game: expeditions and events involving the various alchemists in the game.

Expeditions can be undertaken on Nelke’s weekend off-days. These see Nelke invite others in town on exploration journeys in the surrounding areas, where they can obtain various materials. Expeditions are setup with a final destination point, however, there is a time-limit so the party may need to hurry through proceeding areas if they wish to reach the planned destination. More destinations and routes are unlocked by previous expedition progress and through town development.

Nelke can also use her vacation days to visit the various residents in town. There are various series of character episodes to view. Some examples given are Lita suffering from illness while Klein (both from Atelier Iris) worries about her, and Raze and Ulrika (Mana Khemia 2) getting into a fight that turns into a game once others become involved.

Nelke and the Legendary Alchemists sees protagonist Nelke tasked with building up the village of Westwald. To help her, Nelke recruits various alchemists from across the series, including its various spin-off such as Mana Khemia. The game is set to be released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch in North America on March 26, 2019, and in Europe on March 29, 2019.
