Ni no Kuni II DLC Details Emerge

Bandai Namco has provided information on the new DLC for Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, titled The Lair of the Lost Lord. The DLC will be accessible for those who purchased the season pass and is planned for a 2018 winter release. It will also be available for purchase separately from the PlayStation Store or Steam.

The Lair of the Lost Lord will add a new dungeon as well as a new fighting style into the main game. The new dungeon is located in the Rubby Ruins and is protected by the Prince of Wraiths, who plans to obliterate Evan’s kingdom of Evermore. There will also be a new Material Method system that changes the battle style. The changes are said to derive from the memories of people Evan encounters on his journey, though the specifics have not yet been revealed.

There will also be new weapons as well as additional quests that reveal character’s past included. The DLC plans to incorporate over eighty new weapons and armor into the game while the quests being added are going to dive into Evan’s friends’ back stories.

I”d be interested if there’s sufficient extra story to go with it. I don’t really have interest in extra dungeons by themselves
