Fallout 76 Marks B.E.T.A. Start with New Screenshots

Bethesda has released a new batch of screenshots for Fallout 76 to celebrate the start of the game’s B.E.T.A. (Break-it-Early Test Application) phase. The screenshots showcase some of the various locations and threats that players will come across as they venture across the West Virginian wasteland.

Players on the Xbox One were the first to receive access to the B.E.T.A. yesterday, October 23, 2018, while PlayStation 4 and PC will have the B.E.T.A. begin on October 30, 2018. The B.E.T.A. will only be live for certain periods — usually four to eight hours each day — due to the need to update servers and apply various bug fixes. Access to the B.E.T.A. is only available to those who have pre-ordered the game.

Fallout 76 is set in 2102, twenty-five years after the nuclear assault that turned America into a wasteland. Players control dwellers from the titular Vault 76 in West Virginia, tasked with reclaiming and rebuilding civilisation. The game is always online, with every human in the game being controlled by a player. Fallout 76 is set to be released on November 14, 2018, for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
