Sega Confirms Valkyria Chronicles 4 DLC Schedule
Sega has revealed its DLC plans for strategy RPG Valkyria Chronicles 4 ahead of the game’s release later this month. The content — details in the table below — features a couple of free pieces in addition to its paid for content, with two pieces included in the game’s Memoirs from Battle Edition.

The “A United Front with Squad 7” and “Edy’s Advance Ops” DLC will see Valkyria Chronicles 4’s cast team up with Welkin, Alicia, Isara, Rosie, Largo, and Edy of Squad 7 from the first game. The packs will add in four story missions that run for around three hours including fully-voiced cutscenes. Completing the missions will unlock those members and Edy’s personal submachine gun for use the player’s army in the main game.
Valkyria Chronicles 4 is set to be released on September 25, 2018, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game takes place around the same time as the first game and follows the Federation’s Squad E on its mission to end a continent-wide war by capturing the Imperial capital. A demo including the prologue and first two chapters is currently available to download on consoles.
In addition the Valkyria Chronicles 4 news, Sega also released a trailer for the recently announced Nintendo Switch release of Valkyria Chronicles Remastered. The Switch release will be digital-only via the eShop on October 16, 2018, priced at $19.99, with those who have purchased Valkyria Chronicles 4 digitally on the console receiving at 25% discount.
