inXile Entertainment Provides Pair of Bard’s Tale IV Trailers

inXile Entertainment has released new trailers the latest title in the Bard’s Tale series, The Bard’s Tale IV: Barrows Deep. The first features a spotlight on the creation of the game’s music, while the second is a launch overview trailer ahead of the game’s release on PC on September 18, 2018. The game is also planned for release on Mac, Linux, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 at a later date.

The Kickstarter-funded sequel is bringing the mainline Bard’s Tale franchise back after a 30-year hiatus. The developer held a Wishlist Initiative via Steam, GOG, and Humble Bundle, potentially lowering its purchase price when certain thresholds of wishlisters across the three services were met. The first of those goals has been met, which will see the players receive an in-game version of the torch from Red Hook Studios’ Darkest Dungeon.
