New Trailer Proves The Surge 2 is No Walk in the Park

A new one-minute trailer offers a first look at some gameplay for Focus Home Interactive and Deck13’s upcoming The Surge 2. Taking control of a brand-new protagonist, players will explore some new environments promising larger levels, set all around a city devastated by the first game’s events. The trailer takes place in the city’s Park sector, where a mercenary band called The Hunters lie in wait to ambush you. Combat continues to focus on being able to target and sever enemy limbs to disable them and gain valuable upgrade parts, but is shown in the trailer to be faster and flashier than ever.

The Surge 2 doesn’t have a more specific release date beyond 2019 yet. The game will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
