First Part of City of the Shroud Now Available

The first chapter of Abyssal Arts’ real-time tactical RPG City of the Shroud is now available on PC and Mac. The game is available to purchase on Steam and the Humble Store for $19.99/€19.99, with that price granting players access to all four planned chapter when they become available. The second chapter of the game is planned for release in Q4 2018, with player decisions having an impact on development of coming chapters.

City of the Shroud puts players in the role of a commoner who arrives at the city of Iskendrun, which is beset by portals from which dangerous beings emerge. After dealing with a particular portal, the player character finds themselves hailed a hero and catching the attention of the various factions vying for control of the city. The game’s tactical combat system utilises elements of real-time-with-pause strategy and fighting game-style attack inputs.
