Call of Cthulhu Reveals Gameplay at Gamescom

Focus Home Interactive has released the first gameplay trailer for Cyanide Studios’ Call of Cthulhu. The trailer takes a look at a specific chapter of the game where protagonist Edward Pierce explores the Hawkins mansion, a house that had been partially destroyed by a fire. Using clues gained from the environment, Pierce can attempt to reconstruct the truth. The video also gives a brief glimpse of the dialogue system, which shows a few of the ways Pierce can deal with confrontations.

An adaptation of the Chaosium tabletop game, Call of Cthulhu finds private investigator Edward Pierce looking into the case of the Hawkins family, whose members have died under mysterious circumstances. The game will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 30, 2018.
