Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition Coming This Year

Bandai Namco revealed that it will be releasing Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition worldwide later this year. The announcement initially came during the Xbox E3 Briefing, with Bandai Namco later confirming that the game will be released for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

Tales of Vesperia was originally released for Xbox 360 in North America and Japan in 2008 (Europe in 2009), with Japan receiving an enhanced port for PlayStation 3 that includes two extra permanent playable characters. Bandai Namco has confirmed that the extra content of the PlayStation 3 will be included in the Definitive Edition along with both Japanese and English voice acting.

There’s an old forum rule about this, I think. Is that right? There was someone (don’t remember who) who would incessantly complain that the enhanced PS3 version wasn’t localized.

I was going to replay ToV in the next year to compare it to Berseria. This helps immensely, since my old 360 is hardly reliable anymore. Better yet, I can play it on the Switch.
