Phantom Doctrine Heads to Consoles

Publisher Good Shepard Games and developer CreativeForge Games announced that tactical RPG Phantom Doctrine will be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The console release joins the previously announced PC version, with all three planned for release later this year. Along with the new platforms, the companies also provided a new E3 story trailer for the game, which also features various brief snippets of gameplay.

Phantom Doctrine is set during an alternate history Cold War and puts players in control of The Cabal, an organisation fighting against a global conspiracy. During the campaign players are able to develop their base of operations, investigate cases, recruit and train agents, forge documents and identities, research new tech, and interrogate and brainwash enemies. There are various tactical options for missions, including using heavy weapons for a full-on assault or taking a stealth-based apporach.
