The Banner Saga, West of Loathing Coming to Switch

During its Nindies Showcase presentation for titles coming to Nintendo Switch this year, Nintendo made two RPG announcements. The first to appear in the presentation, viewable in full below, was Asymmetric Publications’ West of Loathing, a western comedy RPG with stick-figure, black-and-white graphics that was originally released for PC, Mac, and Linux in 2017. The Switch version of West of Loathing is set to be released in spring 2018.

The other RPG announcement was in effect an announcement of three titles, as all three games in the Banner Saga trilogy will be released for Nintendo Switch. These tactical RPGs will be released on the system this year. Exact dates have not been confirmed, but The Banner Saga 3‘s Switch version is confirmed to launch simultaneously with the PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions in summer 2018, while the first two games are simply listed as “coming soon”.
