Sunless Skies Delayed

Failbetter Games has announced that it will be delaying the release of Sunless Skies. In an update for the game’s Kickstarter, the company admitted that sales of the game in Early Access were not up to the first game’s numbers and that measures had to be taken to ensure the longevity of the company beyond the release of Sunless Skies. As a result of this, the game’s full release has moved from May 2018 to a new date that will be specified within the month.

Set in the Fallen London universe, Sunless Skies is the follow up to Sunless Sea, instead taking place in space following London’s expansion into the final frontier. The game is currently available in Steam Early Access and GOG Games in Development on PC, Mac, and Linux for $24.99/£18.99/€22.99.
