Standalone PS4, Xbox One Release for South Park: The Stick of Truth

Ubisoft announced that South Park: The Stick of Truth will receive a standalone physical and digital release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Febraury 13, 2018. Previously, those versions of game were only available digitally to those who had pre-ordered its sequel, South Park: The Fractured but Whole. The standalone version will cost $29.99.

South Park: The Stick of Truth was developed by Obsidian Entertainment and originally released for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 in 2014. The game follows a new kid in the titular town, who becomes involved in a role-play fantasy war. The sequel, South Park: The Fractured but Whole, was developed by Ubisoft and released in 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and sees the cast move on from the fantasy role-play to becoming superheroes instead.
