Happy #JRPGJuly everyone! The RPGamer crew is back for another round of Chic Pixel’s annual celebration, and we are here to share what staff are going to be playing this month!
Whatcha Playing is back to round up the games the staff played in March and April. Dragon Quest III, Trails games, Trials of Mana, and Persona 5 Royal were among the many vying for staff gaming time as we stayed indoors during the lockdown.
Whatcha Playing is back after a holiday-related delay to round up the games the staff played in November and December. Pokémon, Heroland, AI: The Somnium Files, and Trails of Cold Steel II were among the many vying for staff gaming time over the holidays.

It’s time for #JRPGJuly again and the RPGamer staff are back playing a whole host of different games for the occasion. Join in the discussion all month long. So what JRPGs are you playing?
Another key point has been added to the timeline as Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology releases. Time traveling is no longer required to pick this game up.
Near the end of the DS’s lifespan came a rather interesting and effective game called Radiant Historia, which unfortunately didn’t sell very well. Near the end of the 3DS’s lifespan, hopefully history will not repeat.
Radiant Historia’s enhanced 3DS version is just a couple of weeks away. RPGamer can now try and demo and plan for which DLC they may wish to purchase when the game releases.
