Turn-based RPG BattleCakes was previously planned to fully release on Steam this week. However, developer Volcano Bean has elect to turn it into an Early Access launch to let players check it out while avoiding the hazards of crunch.
After spending enough time in the oven, Volcano Bean’s BattleCakes is set to release later this year. Players will enter its confectionery-themed world of Pasteleria on Steam this October.
RPGamers looking for a break from the serious business of RPGs will soon be able to have their cake and eat it too. BattleCakes is a game embracing the sweeter side of gaming, and it’s releasing later this year.
