BattleCakes Releasing on Steam in October

Developer Volcano Bean announced that its turn-based RPG BattleCakes will release on Steam on October 26, 2023. The Steam release will be available on PC and Mac. To go with the announcement, the developer revealed that a limited time demo for the game is available until August 7, 2023, as part of the Wholesome Games Steam event.

BattleCakes takes players to the confectionery-themed world of Pasteleria where they control customisable cupcake hero Birthday Sprinkle. Joined by friends Red Velvet, Midnight Truffle, and more, they investigate various mysteries and hardships in nearby towns, battling or befriending monsters along the way.
