Prison of Husks Sets January Release Date

Developer Glass Head Dolls announced that its “nostalgic Soulslike” Prison of Husks will release on January 27, 2027. The game will be available for PC and PlayStation 5. In addition, the developer has released a new update for the game’s Steam demo, which includes various changes to its combat, visuals, items, enemies, camera, and tutorials.

Prison of Husks is set in a painted afterlife called the Lithos Plateau where players awaken as a doll and seek their beloved. The game encourages players to be active in combat to boost their damage, with parries restoring stamina. Players can use Rings and Brooches to customise their build, with a variety of weapons available to use. The game is said to feature dense level design, with various shortcuts that loop back on each other.
