Atlus released a new trailer for Metaphor: ReFantazio to mark the start of pre-orders for the game’s Nintendo Switch 2 release. It is available to pre-order now on the Nintendo eShop for $39.99, with a physical edition also available, ahead of its release on November 12, 2026. The minute-long trailer is said to be the first in a series of character trailers, this one focusing on the game’s protagonist.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is created by the team behind the Persona series and released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in 2024. It is set in the United Kingdom of Euchronia, which is made up of three constituent countries populated by eight different tribes. The game’s protagonist — accompanied by the fairy Gallica — is in the capital for the king’s funeral following his assassination, on a mission to save the crown prince from his current curse.
