The Relic: First Guardian Gets Pre-Launch Gameplay Trailer

Perp Games and Project Cloud Games released a new video for action RPG The Relic: First Guardian ahead of the game’s release next week. The eight-minute “combat and bosses deep dive” gives an overview of the game’s exploration and combat, introduces certain story elements, and shows some of its bosses.

The Relic: First Guardian is set in the apocalyptic world of Arsiltus. Formerly prosperous, the destruction of a great relic saw Arsiltus swallowed by the void and turned into a land of death. Players are tasked with finding the pieces of the relic in order to close the void. Players can choose between different weapon types, with character growth based entirely on equipped runes, items, and more. The Relic: First Guardian will release digitally for PC and PlayStation 5 on July 31, 2026, with Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 versions to follow later in summer 2026.
