Celestial Return Out Now on PC

Developer Metaphor Games and publisher Shoreline Games have released narrative RPG Celestial Return. The game is available now for PC via Steam for $14.99 with a 20% launch discount, having previously been delayed from its initially planned May 2026 date. The game is also planned to be released on consoles in early 2027, alongside support for additional languages.

Celestial Return is set in the cyberpunk noir Netherveil City. It follows detective Howard, who is aided by a sentient rose in the investigation of a string of suicides. Player choices determine Howard’s personality, which in turn influences how he interacts with other characters and the environment. The game features a branching storyline, with available choices determined by dice collected and Howard’s personality.
