Quartet Switch Version Hitting Europe, Australia This Week; Version 1.4 Update Coming Soon
Something Classic Games announced that the Nintendo Switch version of turn-based RPG Quartet will release in Europe and Australia on May 29, 2026. The Nintendo Switch version of the game, which initially released for PC last year, previously released in North America earlier this month. In addition, the developer announced that it plans to release its version 1.4 update for the game soon. The update will release on PC first before coming to Nintendo Switch shortly after. It will include the new developer commentary, a New Game Plus mode, and a new Nightmare difficulty exclusive to the New Game Plus mode.
Quartet features four initial stories — including a series of train robberies leading to a government conspiracy and a mysterious deck of cards that gives a young girl a vision of another world — that come together. The game’s combat sees up to eight heroes fighting in the party; four are active at any time, with the others in reserve slots regenerating their Action Points to be ready to be swapped in.
