ANNO: Mutationem Adds Boss Rogue Mode, Mac Version

Developer ThinkingStars released an update for action adventure RPG ANNO: Mutationem. The update is available today on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. It adds a new Boss Rogue mode, which blends boss rush and roguelike elements, and is unlocked for players who have completed the game’s main story. The update also unlocks the game’s highest difficulty option from the start as well as addition optimisations. In addition, the developer announced that a Mac version of the game is now available through Steam.

Originally released in 2022, ANNO: Mutationem takes place in a cyberpunk setting and uses 3D environments with pixelated 2D characters. The game follows Ann Flores, supported by her hacker friend Ayane, as she looks for the whereabouts of her brother. It includes 3D exploration with 2D combat as well as numerous sidequests, including a bartender mini-game.
