Side-Scrolling RPG Luctus Releasing This Year

Publisher Blackburne Games and developer Mriya Game Studio announced that 2D side-scrolling RPG Luctus will release in Q3 2025. The game will be available for PC via Steam.

Luctus follows two friends, Nora and Luna, who grew up under one roof and lost their parents at a young age. They set out to hunt down the creature that caused their father’s death. Players control Nora, who wakes up to find Luna has disappeared as the story turns into a focus on life and death. The game sees players interacting with various characters across its world, encountering mythological creatures, and partaking in challenging boss battles.
