Road Truckers: New Beginning Announced
Publisher Movie Games and developer Road Studio have announced Road Truckers: New Beginning. The game is billed as an open-ended trucking simulation RPG and is planned to release for PC and PlayStation 5 in 2026.
Road Truckers: New Beginning takes players to the small fictional South American country of Vale Rico, where they aim to revitalise their town by starting a new business, inspiring townsfolk, and reinvigorating the local economy. Players can customise the interior and exterior of their truck as well as replace its various parts (such as engine and suspension), impacting the driving simulation elements. Players will need to embark on quests and jobs and can navigate via GPS or explore uncharted roads and shortcuts. Abilities can be upgraded, with players also needing to eat, sleep, and treat injuries and conditions.
