Persona 4 Revival Revealed

Atlus has revealed Persona 4 Revival, a remake of Persona 4. At this stage, the reveal consists of little more than a 30-second teaser video and the announcement of PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S platforms. A release window has not been announced. It follows the  Persona 3 Reload remake of the series’ previous title released last year.

Persona 4 originally released for PlayStation 2 in 2008. It received an enhanced remaster titled Persona 4 Golden that released for PlayStation before later getting PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch versions. The game puts players in control of a transfer student in the rural town of Inaba. He and his friends become involved with a series of murders and disappearances associated with a bizarre Midnight Channel after they discover the ability to enter a Shadow World connected to events. The Golden version adds a new character, Marie, and a new story associated with her.
