Atelier Yumia Demo Releasing This Week, Tales of Graces f Collaboration Announced
Publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Gust announced a demo for the latest title in the long-running Atelier series, Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land. The demo will be available on March 16, 2025, ahead of its release on March 21, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. In addition, the companies announced a collaboration with Tales of Grace f Remastered.
The demo lets players play the prologue of the game up to the main quest “Pioneering the Ligneus Region”. Players will be able to make use of the new synthesis and combat systems as well as explore the Ligneus region, gather ingredients, build their own base, and more. The save data of the demo carries over to the full version of the game. Meanwhile, the collaboration with Tales of Grace f Remastered will lead to the release of a costume as free DLC at a later date. To celebrate, artist Benitama make an illustration featuring Yumia and Asbel, the protagonist of Tales of Graces f Remastered.
Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land is set in a world where alchemy has become taboo. The game follows protagonist Yumia Liessfeldt and her allies as they set out to uncover the lost history behind the Aladissian Empire, where alchemy was said to thrive. Yumia is a young alchemist who lost her mother in an accident while young. Her mother hid her identity as an alchemist, with Yumia’s journey seeing her confront her past while seeking out the truth behind the cataclysm that destroyed Aladiss.
Physical standard and Premium Box editions for Atelier Yumia are currently available to pre-order on the NIS America Store. The special physical edition, Premium Box, includes the base game, “Yumia’s precious stuffed animal”, an art book, a set of six decorative keychains, a soundtrack CD, and an official short story booklet with accompanying translation booklet. Those purchasing the digital or physical editions of the game up to two weeks after its release will also receive the “Athlete of Memories” costume for Yumia, the “Floating Object of Memories” costume for Flammi, and the unique “Training Wrist Weight” equipment.
