Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 Receives Official Trailer
CyberConnect2 released an official trailer — as well as new screenshots and artwork — for the upcoming Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3. The new images show the characters appearing in the game, including the twelve children from the previous games; the Omega Taranis, the Taranis’s final form; the returning Maestro and Vanilla; Berman Emperor Leber Kaiser; and the Crimson Knights Pyrok, Tiere, Ash, and Psyche. The images also highlight the new weakness combo system, new Burst Attacks, special leader skills, the new Assist System, and the latest evolution of the Soul Cannon whereby one of the children will sacrifice themselves so the rest can live on.
In addition, the developer announced bonuses for those who have save data from the previous games. Save data from the first game will unlock the “Old Memories (Noir)” costumes, while save data from the second game will unlock the “Daily Clothes (Golden)” costumes. In addition, normal ending save data from the second game will add the “Flower on the Trails: Piano ver.” track to the game’s jukebox and true ending save data will add memorial photos to the photo stand.
Following on from the events of Fuga: Melodies of Steel and Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2, Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 sees the children setting on a rescue mission after Malt disappears. Discovering the Taranis in a hidden cave, the children’s rescue takes them into the heart of the Berman Empire, with the powerful Crimson Knights standing in their way. Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 features a reworked combat system that adds weakness combos to deal escalating damage with every hit as well as assist attacks that see enemies and a warrior from past games to help turn the tide of battle. The game will release digitally on May 29, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
