Card-en-Ciel Free Update Plan Revealed

Developer Inti Creates announced a series of free updates for the recently-released Card-en-Ciel. The roguelite deckbuilding RPG will receive new content every month for a minimum of five months. The first update, coming later this month, will add multiple new post-game dungeons with their own twists and rewards. In addition, the developer announced that the game’s full 67-track soundtrack is now available to purchase on Steam.

Card-en-Ciel is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. The game follows Neon, a “game chair” detective, as characters from other universes unexpectedly show up as he solves a new net crime. Gameplay sees players clearing out rooms in dungeons by collecting and battling with deck built up from over 300 character cards, attempting to defeat the boss at the end. Each room cleared grants a choice of reward, with players also earning scores and rewards when they complete the dungeon.
