Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered Launching in October

During its latest State of Play presentation, Sony announced a remastered release for Guerrilla Games’s action RPG Horizon Zero Dawn. The remastered version will be available for PC and PlayStation 5 on October 31, 2024. In addition to a variety of graphical improvements, it will feature over 10 hours of re-recorded conversation and motion capture. The remaster will support PS5 Tempest 3D Audio Tech as well as DualSense haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, and include native support for PlayStation 5 Pro features.

Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered will be available for $49.99, and will be available physically and digitally. However, all those who own Horizon Zero Dawn and/or Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition on either PlayStation or PC will be able to digitally upgrade to the remastered version for $9.99. Those who own the physical version of the game on PlayStation 4 can access the offer by inserting their game disc into their PlayStation 5 console, though will be required to insert the disc each time they wish to play.
