Neverness to Everness Announced

Developer and publisher Hotta Studio announced the free-to-play RPG Neverness to Everness. The game is billed as an open-world title featuring an anime aesthetic and being developed on Unreal Engine 5.

Neverness to Everness is set in the town of Hethereau, where the supernatural is a common occurrence and humans have to coexist with anomalies who sometimes cause them troubles. The player assumes the role of an Esper who, alongside other individuals and entities such as the Bureau of Anomaly Control, is tasked with using their psychic abilities to deal with these paranormal beings. In addition to this occult-related duty, players can partake in other activities such as buying and customising sport cars, managing businesses, acquiring houses they are free to design, and more.

Neverness to Everness is planned to release for PC, mobile, and consoles, with pre-registrations currently available here. The announcement trailer, viewable below, hints at more details being made available this September.

Fascinated by the screens since I saw them, video games are a sorcery I quickly became obsessed with. This passion culminated with the discovery of the RPGs. At that time, they were likely the sole titles where story and world building mattered as much as gameplay. Now, I am writing about them, especially my favorite ones: the JRPGs!
