Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.3 Update Coming This Month
HoYoverse announced its newest update for turn-based sci-fi RPG Honkai: Star Rail. The Version 2.3 “Farewell Penacony” update will release on June 19, 2024, which provides the conclusion of the Penacony Adventure in the game’s main story campaign.
The update will add two new characters: Firefly and Jade. Firefly is a 5-star Fire-Type character and a member of the Stellaron Hunters, who originate from the destroyed world of Glamoth. She is encased in a mechanical armor known as SAM, which she uses to fight. Jade is a 5-star Quantum-Type character and a senior manager of the IPC Strategic Investment Department with a hobby of making patient high-value acquisitions. In addition, players will be able to obtain rerun 5-star characters Ruan Mei and Argenti during the update. Other new content includes a new Simulated Universe update, dubbed “Divergent Universe”, offering additional challenges, as well as a new Origami Bird mini-game and event.
Honkai: Star Rail is a free-to-play turn-based RPG that tells its own standalone story in the Honkai universe and is available on PC, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android. The setting features Aeons, incarnations of universal principles that can freely travel between its worlds and apply their principles to them. Players embark on a journey on the Astral Express along with other passengers looking to explore the universe and find out its secrets.
