Ender Magnolia Enters Early Access

Publisher Binary Haze Interactive and developers Adglobe and Live Wire have released the Metroidvania game Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist on Steam Early Access for $19.99. The 1.0 version of the game, which serves as a sequel to Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights, is set to be released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam in 2024. It will offer Japanese, English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), and Korean language options.

Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist is set in the Land of Fumes, where human-like machines known as Homunculi are created as part of plans to expand the kingdom. However, the Homunculi are driven to insanity by toxins released from beneath the land, turning them violent and causing humans to flee for their lives. An Attuner, a being with the ability to purify unnatural souls, known as Lilac, is faced with the decision of either saving humans or Homunculi. Players will battle scores of monsters and can convert enemy bosses into allies with the aid of the Spirit Reaper. The game features 30 different skills that can be obtained from allies, leveling up at rest points, four friendly powers that can be equipped simultaneously to adapt to various combat situations, lore-filled notes about the tragic kingdom, collectible items, and upgradeable equipment.

I have been gaming since I received the Sega Master System as a young child, which was the first console I ever owned (Yes, I am that old). The game that got me into RPGs was Final Fantasy VIII, a game that I still adore to this day. My favorite RPG of all time, however, is Shadow Hearts on the PS2. I do have many other interests outside of gaming as well, such as watching old-school wrestling, Reading books, 80s movies.... or anything 80s related as a matter of fact.
