Amazon Games Announces New World: Aeternum Closed Beta

Amazon Games has announced a closed beta test for New World: Aeternum. The invite-only, cross-play playtest will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S from 9am PT July 11, 2024, to 9am PT on July 17, 2024. New World: Aeternum is effectively a mixture of remaster, update, and successor to New World, which released on PC on September 28, 2021.

New World: Aeternum’s beta test will let players in North America and Europe customize their characters, interact with and use different weapons, explore supernatural, cursed areas on the island of Aeternum, and try end-game content before the game drops on October 15, 2024. Volunteers can sign up for the closed beta here.
