Xuan Yuan Sword 7 Nintendo Switch Release Date Announced

Eastasiasoft and Softstar Entertainment announced the release date for Xuan Yuan Sword 7‘s Nintendo Switch version. The action RPG will launch digitally and physically for the console on May 30, 2024, with digital pre-orders currently available at a 10% discount on its regular $39.99/€39.99/£34.99 price. A physical Limited Edition is also available to pre-order. The Nintendo Switch port of Xuan Yuan Sword 7 will add Japanese subtitles to the other language options available on other previous versions of the game: English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Turkish, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.

Xuan Yuan Sword 7 originally released on PC in 2020, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions released in 2021. The game is the latest entry in the long-running Taiwanese action RPG series and is set in a version of China about 2000 years ago, towards the end of the Western Han dynasty. Players control Taishi Zhao, a swordsman who sets out on a journey to protect his family.
