Astor: Blade of the Monolith Gets Release Date

During the ID@Xbox Showcase, developer C2 Game Studio revealed the release date for its upcoming action RPG Astor: Blade of the Monolith. The title, previously known as Monolith: Requiem of the Ancients, will launch on May 30, 2024, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

Astor: Blade of the Monolith is set in the world of Gliese. Gliese is home of the Diokek, sentient creations of an ancient race that since disappeared. The Diokek’s peaceful existence is upended by the appearance of malevolent creatures called the Hiltsik. The game follows Astor, a young Diokek warrior, who sets out to uncover the sinister forces at play and discover the secret to the ancients’ disappearance. It features a combo-driven combat system with multiple weapons. The game is billed as drawing inspirations from Devil May Cry, Bayonetta, and The Legend of Zelda.
