Sea of Stars Couch Co-op Mode Teased

Publisher and developer Sabotage Studio has teased its upcoming three-player couch co-op mode for the turn-based RPG Sea of Stars. The new mode, titled “Single Player+,” will allow three players to explore simultaneously and participate in combat with a new mechanic known as “co-op timed hits” More details on the co-op mode, which is still in development, will be revealed at a later date.

Sea of Stars takes inspiration from classic RPGs of the 90s and is set in the same universe as Sabotage Studio’s first game, The Messenger. The game follows the story of the two children of the Solstice as they seek to combine the powers of the sun and moon to fight the evil alchemist known as the Fleshmancer. It is currently available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam for $34.99. Subscribers of either Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, or PlayStation Plus’s Extra and Premium membership tiers get the game included with their subscription. I have been gaming since I received the Sega Master System as a young child, which was the first console I ever owned (Yes, I am that old). The game that got me into RPGs was Final Fantasy VIII, a game that I still adore to this day. My favorite RPG of all time, however, is Shadow Hearts on the PS2. I do have many other interests outside of gaming as well, such as watching old-school wrestling, Reading books, 80s movies.... or anything 80s related as a matter of fact.
